The Wood Base can be used to put structures, storage containers, crafting devices and various other items on. It is quite large, so it will need a bit of room to place. Once the item is crafted, it will appear as a blueprint in the player's inventory. Double click it and (dragging to hotbar does not work) and a shaded outline will appear. When the base is in an area in front of the player where it can be placed the shaded color will be green. Holding the shift key while scrolling will rotate the structure. If the shaded outline is red, the area is restricted from placing in that location. If it is yellow, it is valid but the surface or terrain is preventing it.
